Las Vegas Elevator
True story... On a long trip i was entertaining the car load with stories... then
the young lady tells me this story, although you feel for her circumstances,
you are ashamed of this lady and her racist thoughts... here goes...
A lady hits a big win on a las vegas slot machine and decides to take the
money to her room and put it in her safe in the room. she gets on the elevator
and just before the doors close three black men barely beat the doors
closing to get in the elevator. she is standing there with almost an overflowing
cup of money and is not real comfortable.
one of the black men gives her a stare, and says loudly "hit the floor".... she
drops to the floor, begging for her life, telling them to take the money and to
not hurt her... she looks up when she hears laughter.... "push the button" the
black man says pointing to the elevator control... they all erupt when she
figures out the hit the floor was a request for her to push the button to select
the floor. horribly embarrassed she gets to her room and everything is fine.
Later on she goes back to her room again after gambling to find room
service has delivered a bottle of champagne... on the note all it says is thanks
for the laughs on the elevator... darn them guys she is thinking, i upset them
and now they are getting me back by charging on to my bill... she felt it was
fair as she treated them wrong thinking the worst.
when she goes to check out she tries to pay for the champagne only to find
out it is already paid for... you might want to read the note here says the
clerk.... the note the young lady we were on our trip with said it was signed
"little richie" ... thinking it can be only little richard or lionel richie, i lean to
lionel as little richard is as flamboyant as liberace and a lot more
recognizable... still this is totally a hoot!
