| Welcome to "The Stable Room Rabbitry"! Thank you for taking the time from surfing the web to stop in on our site! If you stick around long enough we will try to make you laugh and inform you.... sometimes on the same subject! What we have is this... a brady bunch on steroids or a "next" reality TV show. My name is Bobby George and I have 5 children, I fell in love with my wife Carol whom also has 5 children.... throw in 150 bunnies, 3 show circuits, a never ending overtime supply at work, 2 jack russell puppies, 2 cats, step kid issues.... kid issues.... spouse issues.... grand kids.... and now throw in seperate work schedules... The main focus of our website (and life at times!!) is the American Polish Rabbit and the raising of them. They have 6 varieties and one on the way (Lilac). I told you it can get quite hectic here. The Stable Room Rabbitry (#X443) is now an official Registered Rabbitry with the American Rabbit Breeders Association! No one else in the world can have the exact same name as our rabbitry with the ARBA, as long as our memberships do not ever lapse. May 14 2005, Bobby & Carol George of The Stable Room Rabbitry win their first Best in Show in Lagrange Indiana. If you want to view our Best In Show Winners - Click Here - Great Day in Van Wert Ohio! Until Saturday April 23, 2005 we had never won a Best of Breed in Ohio. We had several Best Opposites but still did not get to that goal of a Best of Breed. Hopefully this is the first of Many! |
| There were two shows on Saturday, we took home 9 trophies in one day, now that is a fun day! Below is major results of the shows we have attended. Currently The Stable Room Rabbitry has won over 176 Legs of Grand Champions. |
| The Rabbitry page It all started with a 20'x40' horse barn, a lot of work and money has been put in our hobby. In 2002 a 20'x32' addition was added and the old "Stable Room" was turned into an office area. Cleanliness is always a key point and we always have compliments told to us by people buying bunnies. OUR CLUB SECTION Bobby George was selected as the first secretary of Heartland Polish Rabbit Club. He is a project leader in the All-4-One 4-H club, a Member of the American Rabbit Breeders Association & the Indiana State Rabbit Breeders Association. Carol George was elected National Director of the APRC in fall of 2004. Carol was elected as Director to the Heartland Polish Rabbit Club in January 2005. The George's both work very hard at shows, they have given their time, their money, their rabbits, their crocks, their carriers, their cages, and or their support to every Polish Breeder they have come across. Bobby has a hard time with math when adding up totals for the youth who buy stock from The Stable Room Rabbitry, almost always giving a discount that seems to make friends. They have baby sat (a 15 year old boy from Michigan), bunny sat, fed kids, anything reasonable to make a wonderful time for a kid or family at a show! |
